TOCK has visited thousands of children over the last 8 months and seen lots of creativity. TOCK loves nature and for our final competition of 2021, TOCK challenged children across NZ to draw / paint / make a picture of their favourite thing(s) in nature.

Description: Bumblebee gently tickled the petals, the hydrangea stretched and slowly opened its eyes and the shimmering sunshine passed a smile to the flaming hydrangea. I feel grateful to have food to eat and stunning flowers to blossom in the garden, and bees pollinate a third of everything we eat, they play a vital role in sustaining the planet’s ecosystems. So I’ve painted a bumblebee filled with the fragrance of my favourite flower, hydrangea, with watercolor and acrylic paints. By Emily H.
