Description: We were given a large selection of saplings to plant and we made it a big community affair by inviting our gardener and whānau and children to do some gardening. After TOCK's visit we have been talking a lot about different types of rubbish and which rubbish goes into which bin. Our head teacher Kathy showed our tamariki , what we could do with our kitchen scraps. She showed them how to do cold composting and children and families learnt something new that day.

TOCK is so happy that the tamariki are doing such a great job with recycling and learning new ways to grow healthy plants by making compost 🙂
