Instead of throwing away all those colourful plastic bottle lids make them into a whole zoo of animals:
What you will need:
Clean plastic lids
Permanent markers ( different colours ) or Felt tips
Googly Eyes
Scraps of craft foam or card
Scissors
Glue or Sticky Tape
Acrylic paint and brushes
Instructions:
Choose which animals you want to make and simply get creative! Perhaps look at pictures of the real animals so you can get them looking really great. Draw, paint the face first. Add eyes.
Add any important extra parts of the animal like wings, fins….
Instead of making animals you could perhaps draw different faces on the lids – Sad, Happy, Surprised…
If you collect lots of lids you could even make a complete picture with them – seaside scene ….
